US Business and New Customers Increase Turnover
Berlin, 25 Jan 2012 – Andrä AG, supplier of the ontram Enterprise Translation Management System, continued to expand in 2011. Profitable growth of more than 30% in Europe and the US made 2011 the most successful year in the company's history. Many new projects at renowned, global corporations were responsible for this growth, but longstanding customers like CLAAS, Metabo and SSI Schäfer also contributed by further developing the projects already in successful operation.
Andrä AG used the past year above all to lay the groundwork for the organization's future. All the increased revenue was invested back into the ontram product, personnel, and corporate infrastructure. The comprehensive coaching projects to prepare the development team for the newly introduced scrum processes are one example. The product development and customer support areas added staff, increasing their concentration in Berlin and San José.
"Through major investments in personnel, development and infrastructure we are preparing today for the projects of tomorrow," elaborates Oliver Collmann, member of the Andrä AG board since mid-2011. "I am especially pleased about the new additions to our team, whose competence and commitment are taking Andrä AG forward."
The well-known industry experts Clove Lynch and Ben Cornelius were successfully recruited for the US subsidiary ONTRAM Inc. in San José. European operations are benefiting from the expertise of Michael Csorba, who joined the ontram team after several years at MAN to become Project Manager for Customer Service in Europe.
